TRYING OUT THE "NO PO" week 1 experience

So I'm on my first week, and I did not use any shampoo or any hair products for a week. I only used baking soda rinse and ACV , the formula is up to you, there are tons of website for formula tutorial, (I found some in youtube)

So I'm doing it like every other day or 3x a week for my first week . I did this so my hair can clarifies,then have a big break on using shampoo and probably it may somewhat introduced to my new routine.

What I noticed were:

  • My hair become dryer, and gets frizzy some of the time, because I stopped using silicone products.
  • My hair falls not improve, I still get lots of that. One of my big problem.
  • But my scalp is improving, It's not itchy and irritated anymore. So one thumbs up for that!

I haven't seen much improvement this week, but I am sooo optimistic and hoping for next second week.

So here are the pictures for the week 1

I found it manageable for my fist wash, less frizzy,
hair dries quickly after wash.. I put a little olive oil in it
 (cheapest EVOO I got in walmart)
no smell of ACV at all. awesome!


so this was the day after my second wash,
the day after this was so frizzy, dry and so unmanageable
this time I decided not to put any oil on my hair.
