Veranda Magazine Sweepstakes, BEWARE
I don't know how I got an online monthly cover subscriptions on Good Housekeeping magazine. But anyway one day, they sent me an email to join a sweepstakes; like the one you see at the bottom.
So I entered my complete name and address as it says no purchase necessary. And after just a minute I got a confirmation on my e-mail, that I subscribed to monthly Veranda magazines subscriptions for a year. I tried everything to cancel it, I hit those highlighted words at the bottom of the e-mail and it seems to, not sending me to undo it. I never subscribed to any of this and I will never be. So I searched internet to look for the Veranda customer service, I phoned them and the agent told me to phone them back again Tuesday as they are holiday on Monday (Canada Labor Day (today is Friday anyway). And I cannot wait till Tuesday.

So by the way, the agent asked me If I did entered a sweepstakes? She was pretty nice and sound decent.
So that night on the same day, I tried to log in to the website that I found for the veranda customers, and instructed me to use my name and my Zip Code as a username first I couldn't get in, I waited for hours or so and finally I am in their system and ready to send my magazines as for my monthly subscription that I was never made. I also received an invoice that night. So I was a
little furious.. I decided to go again to the website and e-mailed them to cancel the order that I was never made. Then that night, I received a couple of confirmation E-mails, that my order has been canceled.
